Has not been self-isolating, recently we have made donations to Bishop Martin in the Diocese of Karonga in Malawi of £500 to help with the expenses of sending the seminarians to a nearby diocese as they do not have one in Karonga. He has had to delay taking on any more students because of, as he put it, ‘financial challenges’. He sent his sincere thanks. Bishop Martin was sponsored during his studies by a member of OLSM parish. We sent £500 to Peru via the Belmont Abbey Mission Trust. Abbot Paul writes, ‘The money will be used to support the education of priests in the monastery and local seminary where two monks are studying Philosophy and Theology’ and says they pray for us daily. £500 was also sent to Abuja, Nigeria to the Missionaries of St Paul. They intend to use it for the renovation of their toilet and shower systems and provision of solar energy for part of the seminary. A message from Abuja reads,’ May God bless you for your generosity towards our society and seminary. (MSP already has priests working in Wales). With many thanks to all our contributors.
