LENT GROUPS - Meet every Thursday of Lent continuing Thursday 26th February, at 7pm in the Presbytery. NO 2pm meeting. STATIONS OF THE CROSS - Fridays of Lent 5.15pm. Christian Meditation Group – The meditation group continues to meet, info from Deirdre on 07789 404041 BELMONT ABBEY - All services livestreamed from Belmont Abbey belmontabbey.org.uk/online-streaming ARTS & CRAFTS CLUB – Come and join us for painting, knitting and natter and all kind of craft activities – Fridays after the morning mass in the centre. RISE THEATRE – PASSION PLAY – Rise Theatre will be performing a passion play in Church on Thursday 19 th March at 7.30pm. For ages 11+ Tickets £5 for adults, youth free. Rise theatre is a professional theatre company delivering original exciting Christian theatre. Their Passion Play for 2026 is a one hour journey through the key Gospel moments, Cana, the calling of Peter, the passion, set to a contemporary soundtrack. Retreats and Events at Belmont Abbey - Belmont are now organizing retreats and day events again including a series of Lent Tuesdays: “Witnesses to the Faith” from 10am to 3pm at The Chapterhouse. CONFIRMATION COURSE - TIMETABLE OF PREPARATION SESSIONS BELOW. Sessions - Sunday following 10am mass, through till 1.30pm. Sunday 8 th March. 10am Mass followed by session in centre till 1.30pm. Saturday 14 th March – Archdiocesan Youth event at Belmont Abbey in Hereford-see poster. Transport provided 10am Sunday 15 th March. Thursday 19 th March – Passion Play in Church 7.30pm, free to candidates, adults £5. Sunday 26 th April. Sunday 3 rd May. Saturday 16 th May Trip to Harvington Hall 9am – 5pm. (Kidderminster.) (Part of a parish trip, families of candidates invited as well – sign up sheet at back of Church.) Sunday 24 th May. DAY EVENT - Saturday 30 th May – Visit to 11am-3pm. Visit to Treago House, nr Pandy, the home of Valentine Walsh, and her newly built chapel in memory of her husband. Sunday 31 st May – TBC. Sunday 14 th June. Rehearsal Friday 19 th June 7pm Church. Confirmation service, Sunday 21st June 10am.
